Cuyahoga County Democratic Party Chair Names Party Officers 

November 8, 2017, Cleveland, OH – Newly-elected Chair, Shontel Brown, announced roles for new Party Officers for the Cuyahoga Democratic Party, effective immediately. The new officers are:

Kevin J. Kelley, Executive Vice Chair, Cleveland

Kim Thomas, Secretary/Vice Chair, Richmond Heights

Troy Greenfield, Vice Chair, Fairview Park

Michele Pomerantz, Vice Chair, Lakewood

Brad Sellers, Vice Chair, Warrensville Heights

Rudy Stralka, Garfield Heights will continue his term as the Treasurer/Vice Chair and Blaine Griffin, Cleveland respectfully resigned as the Vice Chair to make room for the new officers, while pledging his continued commitment to support the Party and the new leadership.

“I am proud to work with this team of diverse and talented democrats as we develop and enact new strategies to engage our base and grow our party,” said Chair Shontel Brown. She continued, “We look forward to working with fellow democrats across Cuyahoga County to strengthen our efforts to win local, state, and national elections.”Ms. Brown is working with Party Leaders and her Transition Team to review and analyze the party’s infrastructure and needs in areas such as fundraising, grassroots organization, and membership.
