CALL FOR POLL WORKERS
 
The Board of Elections is still in need of Poll Workers for TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 6, 2007 the following cities are needed:  
  • Brecksville
  • Broadview Heights
  • North Olmsted
  • North Royalton
  • Olmsted Falls
  • Olmsted Township
  • Parma
  • Parma Heights
  • Seven Hills
  • Strongsville
If you can work (you will be compensated) Please call 216-443-3277.  There is training needed that will be set up through Saturday, November 3, 2007. 
 

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
 
  1. Help distribute the Parma Democratic News - a simple lit drop (no "walk & talk") of the latest edition of the local Dem newspaper.  Meet at Mayor DePiero's Law Office (5580 Ridge Road) during the following times to pick up the newspaper and walking lists.  Friday, November 2nd between 4:30 and 5:30 PM; Saturday, November 3rd between 8:30 and 10:30 AM; and Sunday, November 4th between 11:00 AM and Noon.  Please let me know if you will be able to walk.
  2. We need Poll Workers - we need folks to hand out literature for Deanna and Scott at all the polling locations throughout Parma.  If you are available to volunteer a couple hours on Tuesday, November 6th, please contact JoAnn Mason at joannm1116@aol.com or me and we will try to work with your preferred times and locations.  We need to hear back from you ASAP on this!
  3. Help us celebrate victory! - Join Mayor DePiero and others to celebrate the evening at "Durty Nelly's" (1151 W Pleasant Valley Rd - near the intersection of W. Pleasant Valley and Broadview Rd.) after the polls close on Tuesday, November 6th.

Lit drops will be this coming weekend starting at 10am on both Sat and Sun.
